Porini Cheetah Camp in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya, is the latest addition to the Porini portfolio of small tented camps. The conservancy, which is exclusive to Porini camps, is a hotspot for big cats, especially cheetah.
The camp, which consists of six en-suite tents, all of which are entirely solar powered, has been designed to maximise guests’ wildlife experience. It is completely unfenced and is situated far from the usual safari crowds.
Highlights include morning, evening and night shared game drives in the conservancy, a full day spent in the Mara National Reserve with a picnic lunch, bush breakfasts, game drives in the Naboisho Conservancy, escorted walks with Maasai guides, and sundowners. The chef has been specially trained to cook Indian cuisine, which is available on request.
Guests also have the option of booking a hot-air balloon safari.
