&Beyond has launched a selection of Small Group Journeys – expeditions that provide access to remote regions and experiences led by private guides, as well as experts in the fields of conservation, nature photography, amongst others.

Exclusive transportation is also included, with &Beyond’s private jet offering for 2019, along with the use of private airport terminals and VIP assistance at customs and baggage claims. The Bombardier Challenger 350 private jet is used on most of the international routes, with a Pilatus PC12 utilised for shorts trips between Kenya and Tanzania.

The 12-day journeys cover Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Guests also have the option of extending their trip to Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, Rwanda or Uganda.

The itinerary includes the Masai Mara, Ngorongoro Crater, Victoria Falls, the Kruger National Park and Cape Town. Activities include cultural excursions with the Masai and the opportunity to witness a rhino notching procedure. Special hosts include wildlife documentary maker, Jonathon Scott of Big Cat Diary, as well as activist, Denis Goldberg. A celebratory banquet is also hosted by &Beyond CEO, Joss Kent.

&Beyond’s Mobile Camping Expeditions in Botswana form another part of the Small Group Journey collection, with a choice of six different routes and accommodation options, as well as the East Africa Photographic Expedition which enables guests to develop their wildlife photography skills under a skilled photographic guide. There are only four seats per departure, taking place in Kenya’s Masai Mara or Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park.
